カタールのイスラム美術館　2022年秋リニューアルオープン

新収蔵品や初公開作品を含む1000点以上の美術品を展示
施設のリニューアル工事を行っていたカタールのイスラム美術館（Museum of Islamic Art）が、2022年10月5日に一般公開を再開します。

2022年FIFAワールドカップのカタール開催に合わせて、リニューアルオープンするものです。

世界有数のイスラム芸術の殿堂であるこのイスラム美術館には、約1400年にわたるイスラム美術作品がコレクションされています。

リニュアール後の常設展示室には、新収集作品を含む1000点以上の展示品が公開される予定です。

また、リニューアルにあわせ企画展「Baghdad: Eye’s Delight」（2022年10月26日～2023年2月25日）も開催されます。

アッバース朝（750～1258年）の首都であり、20世紀以降も再び芸術、文化、商業の中心地として栄えたバグダッドの伝統的遺産を紹介します。
